¿Quién es la Persona Responsable de un Producto Cosmético?

Es aquella persona física o jurídica que garantiza que un producto cosmético cumple con las exigencias del Reglamento CE 1223/2009:

1. Todo aquel Fabricante de Producto Cosmético que se encuentre en la Unión Europea
2. El importador de Productos Cosméticos fabricados fuera de la Unión
3. El distribuidor que introduzca un producto en el mercado con su nombre o marca comercial o que modifique un producto ya introducido en el mercado.

¿Qué información debe tener la Persona Responsable sobre productos cosméticos?

1. El informe de Seguridad del Producto Cosmético
2. Los boletines de Análisis de los lotes que comercialice
3. Información sobre la expoisición a los Ingredientes en la fórmula final
4. Registros en el Portal Europeo de Cosmética (CPNP)

Responsible Person

Who is a Responsible Person?

A Responsible Person is defined as a legal or natural person who guarantees that the cosmectic product complies with the requirements stated in the European Regulation EC 1223/2009. Any of the following figures, may be considered a Responsible Person:

1. The Manufacturer of a Cosmetic product established within the EU
2. The importer of the cosmetic products is considered to be The Responsible Person for any of the products imported.
3. Any Distributor that introduces into the market any cosmetic product containing their name or comercial Brand, or that modify any of the cosmetic products already existing in the market.

Wich information shall the Responsible Person have about the cosmetic products?

1. The Cosmetic Product Safety Report
2. The Microbiology Certificates of analysis
3. Full information on the exposure to each ingredient included in the final cosmetic formula.
4. The CPNP register of each cosmetic product before it is placed on the European Market.
